head light jets, and water in the grill

Post by Tom »

i've got 2 problems really. The first is whenever i go to wash my windscreen at night, the headlight washers also come on and seem to not only wash my lights, but my whole bonnet, leaving water marks all over the place, is there anyway to reduce the pressure coming out of them, or reidrecting them or something along those lines. The other problem is when i wash my car i can never seem to get all the water out of the grill, so it either makes a hell of a job to polish the car, or i get water marks as soon as i drive. Any suggestions?

Cheers

I'm feeling your pain about the water-in-the-grill-issue. It's SUCH a pita!

No solution yet - perhaps pressurized air will get rid of it. No compressor at my grasp unfortunately so I can't even try it out.

The aim on the jets should be adjustable (I'd imagine) but the pressure is fixed. Anyone that actually has these jets know?

I have this problem too...

The jets give the lights, bonnet, and front wings a spray!

Although I only usually use the jets when it's bad weather/dirty car, so a clean will always be only round the corner.

Or we could all turn our lights off for a second while we spray!
