polo petrol tanks -will a 85 hatch/est fit a 91 sallon?

got a polo with a poorly tank its a 91 with a boot will the tank of the 85 estate fit,it looks the same ?

You have to block off the two pipes coming out the bottom of the early tank, but otherwise itll work.
