hey
if anyone can help i'll be glad!! is takin a MK3 ibiza, heater controls, headlight controls, wing mirror controls, the same set up and same to take out as the MK4 polo,

You just want to do a standard replacement or an upgrade?
The mk2 was produced until 1999 (as the mk4 polo) and has the same style of dash. The mk3 ibiza was produced until 2002 i think (as the mk5 polo) and has an entirely different dash.
There are a few minor differences between the mk2 ibiza dash and the mk4 polo, in terms of switchgear.
-The headlight switch goes the other way
-On the ibiza, the mirror controls are on the dash by the window switches whereas on the polo they're on the door card.

no worries matey. it's the first one that was built under vw, but is a mk2 nonetheless!
