It's a nice long crack, because the splitter is smoothed into the bumper.

Went to the post office earlier, pulled into the space (it's a nightmare parking because there's 4 spaces and it's just off a main road so always busy) and heard a nice bang as it hit the curb, I'm just glad I pulled in at an angle.

But, it was booked into the bodyshop 20 minutes later so all is well.

Ouch! Does that mean you'll have to get a new bumper and splitter then?

Thankfully no.

It's repairable and is getting done on the 8th May 8)

Ouch, not good :( What I hate is in some multistoreys - they have a low kerb right in front of the space

Another reason I havent colour coded my gti splitter. I scuffed mine on a kerb the other day but lucky i heard it and got stopped in time before I did major damage.

It wouldn't have been as bad if it was just colour coded, it would have only needed respraying, instead it has to be smoothed into the bumper again which means a few more £££'s

You think that's joyous?

Wait till the problem includes vital suspension parts and lots of oil. That's joy!
