Hey,
can anyone tell me if lowering springs r difficult to DIY:?:
..and do you need new shocks and stuff too, or can u get away without all that hassle and cost :?:

yes it is possible to DIY if you are fairly capable with a set of spanners, say a couple of hours max to do fronts and rears can take a little longer.

generally acceptable to use same shocks if you're lowering around 30mm but if you're going down 60mm then you'll benefit from uprated shocks so the setup is matched.

you will have to get your tracking/ alignment done afterwards which you cant do yourself.

ECP do a decent set of springs by ventura for about £60/70 or a bilstein shocks and ventura spring setup for about £180 off the top of my head...

Or you can be cheap like me and get GSF ones lool. 40 quid and theyre alright.

Bit bouncy but they bring your car down and lower the profile well enough that it looks good while retaining some comfort. Just when you hit a bump you launch lol. but thats all part of them fun right?>
