UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

I was not trying to be caustic about UK-POLOS.NET when I made my suggestion about sticking with only one brand and model on each forum, its just that there are lots of potential "forum members" out there and if they join the wrong one then their "forum experience" is a bit jaded if no good replies pour in or the search function can not help them due to low content (low volume). I know there was a 1.2 Ibiza or Fabia owner on this site's Ibiza or Fabia sections that had a real problem but was not getting any answers quickly, I suggested that they posted on the "more brand specific" forum for quicker/better help, unfortunately they then went and posted on the site I advsed but in the wrong (in my mind) section - and got no replies - except from me who advised him to post in the general model section. By that time I seem to think that he had given up on using forums so disappeared - which was a bit of a shame really as he needed urgent help which I could not give him. So I'd say posting Ibiza 6L and Fabia ?? ie platform specific questions into the Polo 9N1 section is good as it gets proper visability and is meaningful as lots of this platform's problems are common across all three brands - That's all, remember we are all here due to our interest in these cars, I am a Polo 9N "minder" and subscribe to the Seat and Fabia specific forums also to extend my knoweledge base and to help others.

eyup Dave, you still got your fabia? i have one also.

Yeah still got it..... It's just coming up to 3 years old this May. We actually have two vRS's.... a silver 05 plate which is the mrs' and my 06 black one.

I have my black 53 plate and ourlass as her yellow 54 plate..we are dedicated also hahaha. we need a mini meet seen as though we are all in sheffield.

theres a briskoda meet on saturday 11th
not far from sheff. just my side of donny.

That meet looks like one of the biggest Brisky meets in this area for a long while..... Last time i can remember one as big as this was a few years ago when we took over the Meadowhall retail park car park.

I got the wrong day for the work thing.... It's the Elsecar megameet on the Sunday that i'm working on. The Saturday i'm out on a works doo all day.

i went to the skoda garage on saturday to have a look at a fabia.
guess what.. they didn't have one

i've saved an extra £1200 in the last month for one

i need another test drive though.

Next meet we're both at you can have a spin in mine if you still need to.

picked it up yesterday.....its bloody slow though going from a 250bhp mr2 turbo to a 1.9sdi fabia makes it fairly noticeable

hi am on my 2nd vrs but this time have got the SE thats re-mapped , i currently have a 2006 a4 2.0T fsi and had a polo 9N before but deff preferr the fabia,

im a fabia vrs owner ive got a se no 522 just new to the forum, found a set of tt comp center caps for sale so i signed up
