Although you cannot get through to it from the engine bay or underneath either (all enclosed)
Basically, once you have the passenger side fod grille out, you can reach through and get to a few clips that side, then lever it out.
I also took the main upper grille out to get an extra hand down behind the bumper which helped slightly.
Is a pain and you have to give it a bit of welly and apply generous amounts of patience but it comes out in the end!
