yup, another £40, do you think, if it is the lambda sensor again, that it will have some sort of guarentee against it?

its not a proper VW one, but an aftermarket one, i asked what the differance was when i chose which one, they said the VW one tends to work  they were right! It is a reputable place though, most upsetting thing is, i have the money, but im saving for a GTI just like urs! So it pains me! Im very jealous of u! Must feel a beast after a 1.0 6n2? mines a 1.4mpi, but im sure the GTI is in several several leagues above that as well?

Thanks :P But it is a totally different league - totally uncomparable. The speed is just incredible!

got it vag com'd tonight, came up as the same sensor is working slow, mechanic turned off the light and it has stayed off :) for now anyway, but has said if the ligth comes on again, they will replace it :) didn't get charged for the vag com either, few. But i see why they charge, asked how much a vag com machine was, about £1000 to buy, then every 6 months they have to update it  at the cost of £600

VAG COM is made by ross tech and is shareware.

You scan scan for free and clear errors, but on the non registered version you cant change settings and you cant decode more than two errors.
