starting problems

hi i have a vw polo s 1.4 petrol 52 plate im having problems when starting my car. There are times when the engine would just start up perfectly fine and then when i come to a stop turn of the engine and then start it up again it struggles to start up. to start it again i have to rev up the engine to start it again or After a few attempts of ticking it over like norman the engine works perfectly fine and im able to drive off again.
This happens when i turn off my engine and try start up again.
what do you think the problem is?

the part is around £20 easy enough to change mate
