6n 1.4cl - 6n2 gti engine

Hi all, im thinkin about putting the 1.6 16v engine out of the 6n2 gti into my 6n 1.4cl 
but has anybody else on here done the same conversion??
what i need to know is what is needed from the donor car basicly, would i need the gearbox and driveshafts??
any info on this conversion would be awesome
