Me mam is looking at a 6n saloon which has gearbox probs.

A mate of mine has :- 1.3 6n and 16v 6n gearboxes.

Which would be the best,. or would either fit

What type of engine is the gearbox mating up to?

The 16v will be shorter geared, so at 80mph the 16v one is revving at 4000-4500rpm, the 1.3 one would be nearer to 3000-3500. It's vital you get the right one!
