UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi guys

Had a text from friend who lives in Gloucester, that he had seen a new Polo GTI outside his house. Obviously I thought he must be mad and quizzed him but he said it was 10 Reg and said GTI. it wasn't as bloated as a Golf (his words) and so thought it must be Polo.

I have my doubts because I didn't think they were out till mid-August. (I know you've been able order them since mid May). When I popped into Bristol dealer, he said he was expecting a display model only from about mid Aug.

So does anyone have a Polo GTI in Gloucester or were you just passing through.

PS I have a 1.8T GTI so he knows what that looks like. Just in case someone bought an old model at a huge discount

i think your right. they arnt out for a little longer.
my boyfriend works at a VW in worcestershire and theyve not got any (even a display) in yet.
i cant wait tho. i will deffinatly have to drop by vw and have a quick look lol

Could possibly be that someone just has a regular 6R polo, with lettering stuck on the back? Who knows. Did he see the front?
