Does anybody know what the code is for a replacement Xenon (HID) bulb? Any ideas what they cost?

D2S
From VW, about £50 per bulb
When buying new ones, get a good quality brand such as Philips, Osram or GE as cheap ones will produce a poor and inconsistent light output.

They are very good bulbs
I would get these though http://www.hids4u.co.uk/philips-d2s-bul ... 85122.html
Best to replace them with pairs.

Thanks Alex
Are they difficult to fit? I just tried to put them in on my lunch break, which inevitably ended in a massive FAIL. Not as straight forward as I imagined.

Theyre not too hard
You have to twist the bulb holder clip anticlockwise to get it to release - its quite firm and also be careful not to put pressure on the insides as it can easily damage the levelling clips
