G40 into a mk2 saloon easy or not?

Out of interest who has put a G40 lump in to a mk2 polo?
I'm thinkin of puttin a G40 into my mk2 polo saloon as a project car and was wondering who else has done it and do you have any tips??

G40 in a Mk2 is pretty much the same as dropping it into a Mk3 coupe - chassis isnt far different. Reasonably easy task. Just need to swap everything across
You may have to look to use the G40 clocks etc, and swapping the dash to a Mk3 shouldnt be too hard should you wish to go down this route.

Yeh I thought it should be ok as it's very similar just thought I'd ask the question before I spend 1000 on a G40 lump lol
May see of I could adapt the original dash as apposed to swapping to the mk3
