New 'discovery'
40304 Security Access. 03. ABS Brakes
info-images: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
Tested unit:
Address 03: ABS Brakes (J104) Labels: 6R0-907-37x-ESP82.clb
Part No SW: 6R0 907 379 BE HW: 6R0 907 379 AF
Component: ESP8.2i front H05 0001
Revision: --------
Coding: 210228E3216D00B5842814EA84D300401700
Shop #: WSC 40308 002 104857
VCID: 02877A8C1390FFCF65-8056
No fault code found.
----------------------------------------------
40304 security access provides access to channel 88 of the brake unit to enable or disable this function (unknown to me).
You must enter this security access each time you want to access this channel.
My 6R is with ESP from factory and had this function enabled (value = 1 = ON). Two possible values, 1 or 0. My VCDS autoscan on first page of this topic.
Once googled:... this security access seems to be for the drying of the brake pads (another mystery to solve ).
Test
I tried all these security access with the engine running (a big mistake on my part ):

How did I do it?
First the seed code (40403 or 40168), then another different code, again the seed code, then another different code, and so on to test all the codes. This way you can test all the codes in a couple of minutes ...
I'll have to test all codes again without the engine running...
Does anyone want to do it for me?

I am a friend of the masters of the universe ...
ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
If it helps, the function (dry wipe) very lightly applies pressure to the brakes intermittently during driving with the window wipers on, so to remove any water from the brakes, my T5 has this activated, if you would like a channel map?ciclo wrote:New 'discovery'

@Ciclo please inbox me your emailciclo wrote:The first thing you have to do is read in full this forum topic viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69121#p515534rdasadia wrote:
@ ciclo how do I get the wiring Harness to upgrade my BCM to 7E0
You also can speak with graaja .
He right now is in this process of wiring adaptation (in addition to the installation of many new parts ).
The process would look like this (similar): viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69121&start=60#p517201
Please, take your time to think about this installation process and tell me if you would be able to install my wiring. Thanks.
(must locate the parts in your Polo GT physically and think about the installation at the same time)

rdasadia & govindsharma
I need the following pictures from your 6R:
Relay carrier
Light Switch connector
Dimmer connector
Fuse box
New BCM (tell me the reference number)
Open a new topic in the forum to upload the images and info, in the same way that graaja did viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69121#p515534
It's the only way you or anyone can buy my wiring B or C.... powerful reasons.
Without these images I can not manufacture your wiring, so, what sense does it have that I send you my email?

Hi Fernando,
Yes since I took the information from that T6 I have cross checked it with ABS adaption map, mine is not listed as IDE**** , but from 0-255 without description, I will run the scan again as there has been a few updates on VCDS
