What tyres on a gti?

What tyres are people running on there gti's 16" monzas? Mines on avons at the moment running 214bhp but there about nackerd what would people recommend I used to have Yokohama parada spec 2 on my old car n they where great but pricey.

Yokos in the wet with a turbo and 200+bhp will end in tears. i speak from experience.

I have proxes T1-Rs at the mo they are great on the road, a brilliant all round tyre, however if you are going to be doing track driving they are definitely too soft, you end up just going over on the side walls and overheating them... For this reason I think I'm gonna change to yoko ad-08s when I next need tyres

I've got Michelin Pilot Sport 3's on mine. Really impressed with them actually and would recommend

Just got new parada spec 2's so I'll let you know how good they are... Heard good things and even good on track

t1r's are good for a budget
parada spec 2's are slightly better but worse in the wet

AD08's are the best road and track tyre also very good in the wet!, they are pricey but 100% worth it!

i have tried them all
