I thought it was time to have an upgrade after owning my previous car for nearly 4 years.

My old car was a VW Lupo ( I know its not a Polo but still a VW )

And here is my Polo GTi

Spec

Candy White
25K Miles
Matt Black Roof Wrap
Turbo back Miltek Exhaust
Forge Front Mount Intercooler
Forge Boost Pipe
Forge 007P
PD160 Intake snorkel
Revo Stage 2 Map
Drilled and Groved discs
Green Stuff pads

Having owned the car for only 3 weeks I haven't really had much time to do much to it. Except enjoy driving it :)

Although I have done a couple of small mods

Uprated FPR from 3 bar to 4 bar
Revo Panel Filter
SWG Air Vent Pod
NewSouth Boost Gauge

I'm not really too sure on power figures, but hoping to find out soon

I have a few plans but they just ideas at the moment

What do you guys think?

Cheers

Aaron

Yeah I'm not sure on the badge either, It came with the car.

I can't decide on putting it back to chrome or an all black one

Cheers mate. I love the stage 2 well worth it :) can't wait till more power :) the mpg isn't too bad around town with sensible driving averaging around 26 mpg but on long runs I'm getting 300 miles to full tank of vpower

Very smart, I'm stage 2 also, did the 4bar fpr make much difference? I'm running standard still at 225

* UPDATE *

Been a while since I updated this quite a lot has happened in the meantime.

Picked up some new wheels for a pretty good price off of here. BBS RW17 in white with Yoko Pradas. They had a bit of curbing on them but I wasn't too bothered as I will eventually get them refurbished.

Got hold of a NewSouth indigo boost guage and air vent pod. Fitted it and wired it to come on with dash lights. Looks nice and factory.

Image

Did a bit of tidying up in the engine bay, removed SAI pump and bypassed N249 and n112 valves. Holds boost so much better now. Also at the same time due to removing the SAI i was left with a hole in the side of the air box, so I had to look for a replacement. I managed to pick up a MK4 Ibiza tdi airbox for a good price to go with the pd160 intake. This solved that problem but the paper filter wasnt really up to the job so I swapped that out for Jabbasport Cone in a box. Engine feels and sounds a little more fruity now which is a plus.

I managed to pick up a Bluemotion grill for a good price so set about changing the grill and loosing that nasty front badge. Not sure if to keep it white or go gloss black with it.

Also got my private plate on in the meantime too. It came with 8k HID's and i hated the blue so i had to get rid, so i installed new sidelights, dipped and main beam. Ring Automotive 120% brighter. They give a nice white light and stop me getting flashed but everyone on the road haha.

Image

Recently I purchased a set of coilovers to get it sitting a lot better. I didnt want to get a cheap ones so i went for BC Racing V1s. I would of got H&R ultra lows but didnt have the extra cash.

Image

Image

Split them and copper greased them all up ready to be fitted

Out with the old and in with the new

While fitting the coilovers I thought i would tidy up a few bits and fit my recent purchases.

Wind deflectors

Image

De badged and de wipered the rear with glass blank

Image

Also smoked my front fogs

Image

Just a few pics of how its sitting now, will be going lower in the new year along with new wheels and some bodywork changes :)

They a little harsh but still bedding in. If they dont get any better ill swap the springs for a softer springrate.

The grill will be going gloss black shortly

The problem is that the dampening setting is at the softest, i want it so that i am able to stiffen it while not having it too harsh. If i stiffened the dampers now it would be back breaking
