6R genuine lowering springs - swap for coilys

Post by joshb94 »

I have a set of genuine lowering springs from Vw which lower the car around 30mm for the polo 6R. Look great on the car and fantastic drive .. But want lower!!

If anybody is interested let me know but I'm looking possibly to swap for coilys and maybe abit of cash your way!

Springs are currently on my car and have covered 3500 miles tops from new

Many thanks !

i have just got myself a new polo... i am wanting to lower it but cant decide on how low... i have been suggested around 40mm.. based on your 30mm lowering would you say its ok to go lower ?

Hello mate,

To be honest mate the 30 m drop on the genuine springs is great and makes the car look so much better, but my personal opinion is that they could do with being lower at the back.

30 m is roughly perfect for a drop on the front but I would go for a 40-45 on the rear !
I think H&R do a good set mate so have a look into them.

Hope that's helped

very right!...in my opinion the 25/40 kit from H&R is the best to go for overall
