Bulb recommendations
Hey guys. What's the best bulbs for headlights in a 2013 polo. Wanting some brighter than stock and white rather than cream light. Have been told that the white ones are a nightmare in the rain. Is this the case? . To much choice and don't want to get any errors on the dash of fork out for some bulbs that blind everyone i drive past.
What have you guys installed?

Re: Bulb recommendations
I haven't actually have them in my polo but I was considering getting the xenon versions, but I have fitted them to family and friends cars and from what I've seen and they have told me they're so much better then stock, they've never told there is a problem in the rain and when I've been in the car I haven't seen a problem.
Re: Bulb recommendations
Phillips Diamond or Crystal vision 5000k - and yes i too have the same complaints, it doesn't do much in the rain (not that it rain's all that much in SA)
Re: Bulb recommendations
Those cheap eBay bulbs are downright dangerous! I had a full set in my current Astra yet my wife's Zafira with one headlight bulb gone was still massively brighter and safer! I'd not tough them again!
Philips Diamond Vision seem the 'whitest' standard bulb, but the Osram Nightbreakers are darn good bulbs if a little less 'white'.
Whether you care or not, the whiter the light, the less visible light there actually is, therefore the less you'll be able to see at night...unless the bulbs are bright enough to cope with the lack of yellow colours in the output spectrum.
