Thinking of buying new GTI (ORDERED)

Hi all,

Currently have a 14 plate R line Polo but have been pricing up a new GTI with the following spec;

5dr DSG
Winter Pack
Convenience Pack
Parking Pack
Car Net Connect

I have a couple of questions if that's ok!

1) is there anything missing spec wise you say is a must? I was thinking about the sports button. Is it worth it?
2) what are people getting on a normal run MPG wise? Worried my normal 50mpg is going to take a huge hit.

Cheers :)

Cruise is really useful if you do any longer journeys and the Sports Button is a lot of fun for a small outlay. I've also got the light and sight pack and folding mirrors. Not sure how many of these are now included in the convenience pack. You'll get low 40's on a run if you don't boot it too hard. Low to mid 30's in normal town driving.

im getting hi 30's round town and low 40's on long runs.... did get 48 the other week, but was sat at 50 mph the whole way!(mines a DSG)

with regards to spec, the winter pack on the gti only gives heated seats and washer jets. pay the extra and get the alcantara/leather... its amazing :)

sport button is good fun, but does make the ride very firm!

I might have seen all of your 6C GTI videos :) good work by the way!

I ended up passing on the Sports Pack as i didn't feel it was worth it.

Just need to make a proper review of it next :)

Didn't feel the original one was good enough now I've learnt a bit more about making videos :)

Imo for £250 the sports pack is well worth it but each to their own :)

I look forward to it! Need something to get me through the next 3 months

Because I went for quite a bit of other spec it took it above what I wanted to spend per month.
