Just got an 08 9n3. Drivers door lock failed about a year ago so the previous owner had it replaced, new barrel with a different keying so now you have to carry two keys - the new one to unlock the door and old one for the ignition.

I was wondering if it's possible to swap the door handles over (would imagine not?) or swap the lock barrels themselves? Not a huge deal if not just wondering if it's possible

Just done this myself - swapping the barrels works fine if a touch fiddly anyone wanted to attempt the same thing!

Hi, did you have to swap handles too? Or did you just rotate the lock barrel to match up? Thanks
