RE: INJECTOR SWAP OUT ( Cylinder 1)PLEASE RECOMMEND A MECHANIC IN HANDSWORTH , BIRMINGHAM.
Hi All ,
I'm new to this forum, and would like to seek your help for our Mk4 Polo 2006 9n (1.2 12v valve) that had broke down on the M6 this weekend enroute to visiting family in Handsworth , had to subsequently leave the car up there and travelled back down south on Train. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the Handsworth area that can do the fix. Parts will be supplied.
PROBLEM:
Cylinder one injector (part no. 03e906031) needs swapping out,
PARTS WILL BE SUPPLIED: a used injector rail and 3 injectors will be available with car.
RAC REPORT:
arrived at scene, member cut out on motorway, on inspection, started car, heavy misfire, scanned car,
cylinder on misfire, under further inspection i suspect cylinder 1 injector to be faulty, part unavailable,
towed to member choice of destination. made member aware that she will only get this one tow for this
fault.
