6R and 6C Interior Trims Compatibility

Hi all,

I’m still in the process of swapping out the musty beige interior trims of my 2013 6R for the GTI models black trims.

A mate has just sent me a listing for some trims, exactly what I need. But I have noticed they are from a 2014 6C GTI model.

Does anyone know if the interior trims of these vehicles are interchangeable?

By interior trims I am mainly referring to the pillar trims.

From swapping some bits like vents, door trims and other misc parts off my 6R for a few nicer looking bits off the Polo 6Cs I've come across, majority the interior parts are interchangeable besides the radio/climate controls.

Of course for the door cards, make sure you get the ones to suit your car, i.e. get 5 door parts if your car has 5 doors
