Hey all

I just received this pic from JBS of their 20vT Lupo conversion!

Check the Engine Mounts on this baby! No mucking about there! All genuine VAG mounts!

Should be good for 330+bhp if IHI'd, 280ish if not!

Noone ever seen Venom's Lupo, or S31 UPO?

Well I've seen a Lupo with a 1.8T before in some mag, I think it was a green Lupo. Not sure what make it was.

But that is a beast. Can that be done to a Polo? :P Bloody hell - 330BHP?! It's insane.

I want it.

s'truth! theres not much room between the block, gearbox & the chassis legs. Has it got pretty solid mounts on to stop it hitting?

Looks cool anyway. 8)

I looked far and wide for a light damaged Lupo or Arosa to do the very same thing, but found it to be an expensive project.

A fun project though :D

What sort of running gear/drive train is it on? What turbo do these things run as standard, can be much room for an FMIC?

Si :)

wouldnt it be better to start with a Lupo GT/i or whatever sporty versions they come in? even if its a bit of a bruised salvage one you have to work the body up from?

Just thinking in terms of polo eg CL vs GT vs G40 - suspension, anti roll bars, more supportive interior and all that. Lupo 1.8T with sticky tyres would end up tilting onto 2 wheels without decent ARB?? :D
