Pic Request - Porsche Wheels (Polished) on a 6N2

Post by Josh_PoloGTi »

I suppose I should just ask Speedlaw, as he seems to be good at this sort of thing... But the offer is open to anyone!

I'd like to see some pics of 6N2's with polished porsche wheels on please.

I'm useless!

Only found one proper one (diesel though, not a GTI) and one conversion.

Oh well. Still look nice...

Mmmmmm!!! :D

I like!

Speedlaw... What are these wheels called? What size are they, and how many € do they usually go for?

(I hope you know the answers!)

Also, with the vw4->porsche5 stud adapters, do you think they'll fit without too many problems? Ie offset etc

I think you can buy them off the shelf now, Awesome GTI would be a good idea. If not speak to Silv (JBS Auto Designs) about getting some made up

Look nice eh!

These are C2 wheels (for Carrera), the usual sizes are 6x16 ET 52 (front) and 8x16 ET 52 (rear). They're available in 7x16 and 9x16 as well, with even higher ETs. You'll have to ask each and every time to find out...

Ash is correct, the adapters will lower the ET to a more normal value of 30-ish, the thinnest you can get are 20mm, leaving an ET of 32.

There are some other styles as well:

Image

The quite popular Gulli's (I was fooled by the file name, which isn't correct) in 7x16 ET 65 (!) and 8x16 ET 52. (Above)

Image

And the 928 S4 'Gullideckel' (manhole cover) wheels, shown here on Tom's car. Again, available in several sizes, in similar ET's as the above.

These are nice too:

The uber-rare C2 Clubsports (limited edition sort of). They're similar to the C2's but the spokes flow into the lip of the wheel. Very hard to find, very very nice to have...

A further option are Porsche's 'Winter Wheels' for which I haven't found a different name yet. Come in similar sizes as the others.

its the adapter from 4x100 to 5x130 which is a plate that you bolt to the hub with 4 bolts then you use 5 new bolts to bolt the wheel to the adapter

I think Josh is turning into a Pimp. Look at the following evidence.....

1 - Smoke window tints - nothing screams pimp more than a set of tints!
2 - Chrome wheels - Daddy Cool!
3 - He likes Humvee's - a car all pimps aspire to
4 - He likes his bad ass gangster rap - a true homeboy
5 - He refers to himself as 'The Management' - hmmmmm
6 - bored of this now but does any one see a pattern? :D
