ok i sorted my jerky problem as fuel gauge sed i had quarter of a tank then boom it ran out of petrol needle had got stuck but as i ran out
loads of s**t spat out the back and it runs like a dream again now

my 1300 mk2 is doin this
do u need to rev it a bit to set off otherwise it cuts out?

mine does i got told my carb needs strippin n cleanin
because they is a blockage i hav tried redex in it but
still the same

i thnik sum1 my dad knows is gonna take a look at it

lol

how much are these roughly
how do they fit or is it technical

I took the air filter back n got my refund btw

what are twin 40's

and can i make my 1300 any faster
without gettin a new engine

also the new filter does not sound any louder its just the same

hey all i just got a universal air filter today n it is a little louder then
before but how do i make it really roar

i have had air filter off all together to see wot it sounded
like and it was just the same

can any1 help

liquid metal is wot it says
a guy sprayed it on n it turned to a metal form
but the leak still manages to get through

i wish my leak cost 2.00 to fix
looks like its costing me another gearbox again
as even bodge jobs wont work
running out of ideas

had evostick on it
no nails
and some stuff for fixin marble fireplaces together

gearbox n linkage is in n runnin fine

but i just hit a problem
theres a small leak comin from where the selecter goes into the box
this was happenin on my 4 speed aswell

so i assumed it was the rubber seal
so i got a new one put in and
next day gearbox oil puddle under my car

hey all I got some pictures of my ride in early stages of moddin

ok folks i got a gearbox sorted now went to the scrap yard and found one on a j reg polo cl and it had a 5 speed box in it

the scrappy wants 100quid thats includin the linkage aswell
gettin it fit for about 80quid in a week or so

nicked a couple of wires n stuff for a cd player while i was there

ok I went looking for a gearbox today and all i found was a 5 speed off a mk3 coupe

will this fit into my mk2 or not

that was 75quid including the linkage but i can get it fitted for about 50quid now i no a guy who is a mechanic.

any1 know how much gearboxes are for a mk2 polo
best quote i got is 75quid for a 5 speed with all the bits
because i got a 4 speed in at the mo and 80quid to fit

citroen ax 1.1 chicago it was a bag of s**t very unreliable
but I sold it a few weeks ago with a k&n on brake leak knackered choke
knackered bonnet catch

broken light mounts no boot lock no steerin wheel lock
no heaters oil leak apart from that it was ok sold for 150

then i bought a g reg polo ...
