Tried both methods, there is no fuse (56) and the indicator option does not work. Looking at other forums, the only way to alter the lighting configuration is to plug the car into the VAG COM software (around £300), the VW dealership will not do it. Looks like depending where it is made depends on what light configuration you get then.
