Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - MAJOR Problem (pg 17)
Try a diy job just for the MOT. Loads of cable ties or something. You just wouldn't want the car to fail over something so small.

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - MAJOR Problem (pg 17)
depending on how lenient your mot garage is, they could be sound and say its not that big of a deal. On the other hand if the guy gets in and the back slips away on the seat he could say its unsafe in the event of a crash.

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - MAJOR Problem (pg 17)
i had a seat go haywire in an old clio of mine. ur best option is prob to hit a scrapyard, even just for the mot while you sort your seat out. i know this isn't much help but if you r badly pushed for time with the mot a seat swap may be ur best bet.

There's bound to be some sort of leather treatment/restore thing you could use. It'll look really cool when its in. Nice subtle mod.

Re: Rear Brakes/Handbrake
if its that loose it is probably both tbh. There's no way to tell without physically looking at them that i know of. But its not an expensive job to change the shoes and cables and you will notice a huge difference even on your footbrake. I didnt realise how crap my brakes were until ii had the ...

Re: Stickerbombing - Tacky or Cool?
saw this done to a bora at a local vw meet. looked really cool but a little girly. they had also done it to the interior door handles. i really liked it, but as i say its a bit girly so i wouldn't have it on mine.

Angel eyes on fire!!!!!
so I fitted my fk angel eyes yesterday, almost. had one side in and about to fie the other when I started smelling smoke. One of the bulb holders in the angel eye ring had started an electrical fire! no damage to me or the car but the lights are clearly faulty so I won't be installing them. I have ...
