Re: Big brakes

That would mean if you have a polo tdi aswell then you can reuse the calliper and pads as i believe the 6n2 gti and tdi have the same break setup!

Re: Coilover Recommendation

Its always worth having a nose over on ebay.de Always sets of Bilstein's, Spax and Kw v1's coming up on there for south of £250, so plus postage on top of that your...

Re: Coilover Recommendation

Just to make you aware matey that the YSR 6n and 6n2 coilies dont come with the adjustable camber top mounts as you cant adjust the camber via the top mount on 6n and 6n2 models! Why do you think you can by the mounts seperately. If your looking at the kits on clubpolo, then you'll find the kit with...

Re: What are they worth?

All due respect though the ones that sold on CP last month were mint, no kurb damage, straight and true, freshly refurbed and near enough new tyres. Not saying that you wouldnt get £350 - £400 for yours matey. But judging by that wheel alone, i can already see slight kurb damage on that so it would ...

Re: 6n2 spacer help

Wouldnt bother matey, personally id save a little more money and buy hub centric spacers. Far safer. With these aswel, didnt read if they are supplied with the spacers themselves, but your also going to need wheel bolts which are 8mm longer. If this isnt included in the kit then your going to have t...

Re: weird noise from coilovers

Gent above speaks sense...likely to be your top mounts matey. Should really always replace them when fitting new suspension. Stupid question, but have you made sure that youve got the spring hats ontop of the front springs as you may not have and the coilover spring is just sitting on the top mount ...

Re: Big brakes

If you wanted something a little bigger again there is a guy over on clubpolo called philj, owns a company called jackson tuning. He sells three different sized big brake conversions for the 6n2, they all have 6pot callipers and he has three different sized discs he can supply with these cant rememb...

Re: HELP + ADVICE NEEDED

Id take your wheel off first dude on both sides and see if the hubs are sitting in the right places inside the wheel arch. If they are then its a problem with you wheels as the gent says above, one of the steels/alloys is either likely to be wider than the other or once will have a lower offset than...
