i have the badgeless grill from FK automotive.
it doesn't have the red stripe on it either.
but i used my red stripe from my stock grill.
used a dremel to remove the clips on it, made it even and used good glue to put it on the grill from FK.
looks just like the stock grill, but without a badge ...

Then i wanted some rare wheels but still OEM, these popped up for sale by lowrider and i knew they would be perfect ...

36 mpg on a gti is about right isnt it?.........

I went to Surrey last week and got 74.9 mpg doing between 60 - 80 mph, the joy of TDI :p

The honeycomb grills sound nice but i wouldn't bother with the smoothing, i've only had a quick look through the ed38 pics and one thing i noticed was every car was smoothed, every car was on air and most of them have massive wheels on, they all look the same!!! so boring.

Wanted - 9N3 half decent intermediate Coil-overs, like AP or FK, no more than 1 year old and 30 miles from Northampton unless seller wants to meet half way.

Wanted - Bora or new beetle 5 x 100 steel wheels, prefer them with no tyre's please, any condition but no dents or curbs.

I have the same car as you weird though because mine came with the cubby hole cover and the black b pillars and chrome dash rings as standard, must be slightly different spec from production line?, are you sure yours is a 130 sport??

Really nice chap, only thing i don't like is the black wheels, i think black wheels are bloody everywhere now, get some polished lips or something?

Does anyone have a list or diagram of all the suspension bushes please? id like to upgrade mine when i get some coilovers on, i've read cupra bushes are the ones to go for?
