the levelers in my car still work on the HIDS... and as for the whole crashing and insurance company not paying out, i would like to show you a picture of my last polo but ill save the embarrassment. Basically it was a complete ride off, had xenons fitted, didn't inform the insurance company at the ...

make sure you get the H7R bulb for a start... and for that price, kinda ridiculous, go onto ebay and pick up something for no more than £50 that does the exact same job.. "/ well thats what i did...

35W is what i would go for, 55W tends to be from china... which means all replacements are had to come across and will set you back a huge postage cost... but yes mine are 35W

That is looking shweeeeet 8) Could i ask where did you mount your ballast resistors? And could you also fit a HID kit for the Main beam? Do you have to take the headlights out to change the bulbs or could you do it in situ. :wink: i just used numberplate tape and stuck them to anything really, just...

I was told that doing the rear ones is a bit trickier so probably not, but tbh, I dont think the lights in the back have ever been on so it doesn't bother me :) the lights in the rear are basically done the same way, use a screw driver to lever the thing out... the bulbs are C5W 38mm... need two in...

Just thought i would make a guide on fitting Xenons, as people do not realise how simple this task is, and spend the guts of £40 plus getting someone else to do something that should only take 15min a light! Firstly, your dipped beam are H7 bulbs, if getting the HID kits I would recommend getting an...

im after the following: Chrome exhaust trim, Polished pedal caps, footwell lights and all connectors, GTI grill, and a nice door trim to finish it up... a lot of the stuff is in this thread, but im looking it all as cheap as possible as i am still a student.. :) cheers
