Re: polo 55 plate 1.4 tdi....yes or no ? should i buy?

Thats way too much money for a 1.4tdi even if it is a 55 plate. I got my 2002 1.9TDi sport with 65k on it for £3900 which is about right. I could understand a low mileage one being around that price but for a car with over 100k its rediculous

Re: Leather Gear Gaitor

Mine is a sport but doesnt have the leather trimmed steering wheel and i think if you chose the leather trimmed steering wheel you got a different gear gaitor too. My current gear gaitor doesnt look like its real leather and where it has worn out it doesnt look like leather at all.

Leather Gear Gaitor

The gaitor for my gear stick is very worn and I would like to replace it. My car did not come with the leather steering wheel and gear gaitor option although i would like to get the proper leather vw gear gaitor rather than the pretend leather one i have now. Does anyone know the part number for it ...

Re: Heater has a mind of its own

I thought it might be the heater flap motor as ive heard its a common problem. I supoose ill have to have a look as well when the weather is better, at least ive got my haynes manual to help me out. Heater has a mind of its own

Recently I have noticed that my heater has been playing up. Whenever I put it on a setting above the blue area at the cold end of the dial the car becomes extremely hot inside, way above the 18 degrees I set it to. Sometimes it works but most of the time it just seems the heaters are on full and the...

Re: Door reflectors

My one has the puddle lights in as standard being an 02 plate sport PD100. Surely the parts could be picked up quite easilt from a scrapyard if you can find any 02/52 plate polos

Re: Sh*T fuel economy?

I get around 500-520 before the fuel light comes on and that with lots of short trips in between my 40mile round commute to uni thats on a 1.9TDi PD100 which is completely standard as far as i know although when on the motorway i sit at 60 which saves a hell of a lot of fuel. Also things like not le...

Re: Josh's White 9N.. EPC and REDUCED BHP :S :S *pg 5*

The EPC light is definitely the brake light switch i had it on my old polo and while it came on an off for a few moths it eventually went completely and i ended up having to go the whole way home from uni with no brake lights which is rather dangerous. Unless you know what you are doing i would get ...

Re: 9n questions

My 9N has no rear washer. I had a mechanic look at it and he said the pipe was broken unber the plastic undertray which runs under the car and he said he could tell because when the rear waher was used the water would drip out from this undertray. If your washers are frozen dont keep on trying to us...
