*My 9n Progress Thread* - NEW LIGHTS
Fitted my LED sidelights today from ultraleds, they are the 15LED minitower WHITE sidelights. However next to my Halfords Extreme Brilliance Xenon Bulbs they look very blue//make the headlight bulbs look yellow. Do you think if I get some MTEC Super White they will be a better colour match? I wanted...

Re: VOTEX KITS
I got my (votex) spoiler off ebay mate, havent got any of the other kit only wanted the roof spoiler....tends to be the hardest part to find lol. Votex, as above, are a VW Factory option, Reiger are aftermarket boykit makers, look less OEM (coz theyre not lol) and tend to be more flared in their sty...

MTEC Bulbs
Hi guys, Wanting to upgrade the headlights to these Mtec bulbs, and i've been recommended specifically the MTEC COSMOS BLUE bulbs but can only find cosmos blue in 100w, and if I want 55w (which I do), they come in Cosmos White. Tyres/Clutch/Suspension/Brakes
Few questions guys: 1) Is the clutch on the way out if I feel its a lot higher/bites much later than it used to, and when driving a 9n3 55 plate (3 years newer) 1.2 it felt noticably better to drive? Should say the clutch isn't slipping at all, I put it in 5th at 30 and it doesn't rev but not pull e...

Re: My New One
Hi Terry! Fantastic condition car for a 2002 model, nice purchase, and I'm jealous of the full leather interior! Agreed about the lights, theres a guy on here (K.I.T.T.) who makes wiring adapters which means you can use the rear light clusters from the 9n3 as plug&play without having to re-wire ...

Re: polo 9n front end conversion i need help
I gather for the front end conversion you need: Pair of front wings Bonnet Bumper Lights Front crash bar (different on 9n to 9n3, piece of metal behind bumper) Been qouted approx £700 for sourcing parts, not including having them sprayed if you can't find a colour match. So most people just buy a 9n...

Hi mate! Welcome to the forum! :D I'm lucky as I bought the car in pretty good nick and paintwork was outstanding due to low mileage etc....I've just started using Autoglym too, before was just the standard Turtle Wax. Using Autglym and just a lindt-free cloth as an applicator, I apply by hand (prob...

Re: Painting Brake Calipers
Ah shame your not around for the next couple of months Ash, as I might be interested in the disc/beam setup but cars going in for full service etc at the end of may, after that I'm going to leave it as it is for a while I think! Apart from aesthetics theres no huge need for a 1.2 to have rear discs....
