my cars done 8500 miles no squeal.

I only live 20 mins away so i will definitely be attending but can only do Sunday as i have to work on Saturday. If all the passes don't get taken up i don't mind putting mine on show for the day.

For me i would like a small drop maybe another 15-20 mm all round. i would love to get mine slammed but i use mine for commuting every day from Leicester to Nottingham and there are speed bumps on my route. Unless you can make it electrically adjustable so i can raise it over the bumps.

I spoke to my VW garage today about arun's post. My cars booked in this Thursday to be checked out.

Thanks for your comments guys. I've have had a quick chat with amd technik in Essex. I might take it down there for a run.

I had my GTI booked in for a run on a dyno today but when i got there i was told they can't run it as it's a DSG. (wish they'd told me earlier would have saved a 30 mile round trip)

Anybody know why and where i can get it done?

I went to the VW dealer for the covers. They cost me £24 each, then got them sprayed at my local Paint shop which cost £50 for both as i asked for pearlescent rather than gloss black

My cars just asked me to check the oil again its currently on 7700 miles. this is litre no 5.

Nice! I really like those wheels. I wish they put those on the gti instead of the monzas.

Oil consumption doesn't seem to get better with more mileage. I've done 7400 Miles and the car has had 4 litres last litre at 6800 Miles.
However i don't put castrol in i use the VW OEM oil and it only costs about £5.50 a litre from the VW Garage.

I had a rattle around the odometer. It became apparent after a couple trips to work mainly on rough roads and ramps. There's a small gap between the speedo display and dash easily fixed by dealer with a nice thin bit of foam.
