It really is a weekend fast road car with the occasional track day. I run strait forward Koni sports with Eibach fast road springs. KW front anti roll bar, no rear. It sits a bit high for some but is does the job! Tires are ADO8s.

The crown wheel from my 9N3 GTI 08 is with Quaife at the moment, they are machining it to fit their diff. It is not a straight bolt on job.

Hi mate, as your build thread is so popular I thought I would post an update on my Quaife lsd upgrade. Gearbox stripped down by Stealth Racing and crown wheel has been sent to Quaife for modificatios to fit their diff. It is not a straight forward.

Hi am following your build thread, very impressive. I am looking to fit a quaife lsd but am unsure of the part no. Quaife state I need to know the ring gear size, if it is 114mm then it will fit O2J. If it is 113mm they will have to machine the diff. Do you please have a part no? Many thanks, Justin

Hi guys, Went to RAF Marham Sun, runway open 1.6 miles at my disposal with a calibrated V Box on board. Rolling start in 2nd at 30mph in the box area at foot of runway. Flat out up through the gearbox 5th gear 6500rpm ish car speedo reading 150mph before hitting the BRAKE markers, hard on the brakes...

Don't fit 4 motion calipers like I did. They do not sweep to the outer edge of the disc, but they do fit.

Contacted Wavetrac, do not do a LSD for the 02R box which is in the GTI. Would love to hear from anyone who is running a LSD in our cars?

Has anyone fitted a LSD Quaffe or such like? Am doing track days now and struggling to put the 230bhp down smoothly out of corners.

Yes 256mm rears. The calipers are from a 4 motion and the carriers are Edition 30. They work fine but the pad does not sweep to the outer edge of the disc. At the last MOT I had an advisory on rusty outer edge to the disc. They are not old either.

Hi Guys, those of you who have fitted 245mm vented rear discs to their 9N3 GTI's have you experienced the fact that the pad does not sweep to the edge of the disc, thus leaving a small area around the edge of the disc to rust. This does not happen on TTs ect. Any thoughts?
