Well I don’t think mine looks like a tractor :( and only the back can be lowered or the front will rub…35 tyres are so thin it looks as if the rubber is painted on :D …I did try a 40 tyre but that! did make it look like a tractor…all in all 18s are possible if they are good quality or the first ...

18inch on 215/35 haven't had any problems..no cracks or anything...

That’s strange they didn’t want to code the handles. Ive always wanted my car to be white so I could paint the roof black but we do the best with what we have. The black on white look really comes off nice like some black rims those black angle eyes smoked tail light..etc

I put 18’ on my polo 215/35 I didn’t need to change a thing…ive got no problems with rubbing and I think they sit just right…

looks good why didn’t you code the door handles? Instead of painting the spoiler black, why not paint the roof black or buy a vinyl sticker. it should be cheaper than paint and if you don’t like it you can just peel it off.

check this site for parts they have a nice set of black angle eyes for 9n ...

I have the same model and it only happens when the car is cold. Like you say after it warms up the warning light stops when the car is restarted. Think we should just send to vw
