Re: How to use the SET button for tyre pressures

Actually it works using the ABS sensor to measure rolling radius. When you press the "SET" button and get a beep, the system resets itself, and the ABS module monitors each wheel and "measures" the full rotation of each wheel using the ABS sensor. When one tyre is flat or going ...

Re: How to use the SET button for tyre pressures

The sensors work on location, they don't sense the actual pressure in the tyre, it's like a little electronic eye that says "hang on, that bit of the wheel assembly is lower than it should be, the tyre must be flat!"

Re: Using Oil!

Could it be how the engines were worked in the first 200 or so miles? I know there are several schools of thought on this, but how much did all of you with oil consumption issues load up your engines in the first 200 miles?

True, but then it's another few hundred on top of the price. Still prefer the OE one, at least on your black GTI :D

Re: Front spoiler

Initially liked the look of teh reiger, until I noticed something strange, I have adjusted the tone curves in the front area to highlight it.... http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy76/gavARB/Volkswagen-Polo-Rieger-21.jpg It has a nasty lip that comes up the bumper! I don't understand why they didn'...

Re: DNA Tuning experiences?

Harding Performance here , though located in Brisbane, are the major distributer and supplier of APR products here in Australia. They have had to generate their own map because the new polo GTI isn't sold in the US, so as with most american companies, if they don't get to play with it, it doesn't ex...

DNA Tuning experiences?

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone here has had any previous experience with DNA tuning ecu maps etc? I am tossing up between a few ECU upgrades for the gti when it gets here and DNA Tuning Australia currently has a sale that places it some AUD $500 (or around 200 quid) below an APR tune that looks in...
