Could be nothing, or could suggest a previous potential front-end collision - especially when combined with the peeling paintwork on the front bumper.

Hi all.

Set of genuine Volkswagen Carbon Optic wing mirror covers.

Have been used on my 6C Polo GTI, but are in immaculate condition. No marks, scratches, or even any dead bugs! :mrgreen:

All the clips are intact and, as you can seen, even includes the original VW box with fitting instructions ...

I've had a fair bit of carbon build up on the bottom half of my exhaust tips.

I'll admit I'm a little bit lazy when it comes to washing my GTI, so that might be more of a factor than anything else. Little bit of effort with some Autosol sorts them out though.

I had a windscreen replaced via Autoglass at the end of last year.

The first fitter turned up with some aftermarket windscreen, which fitted horribly. Thankfully he wasn't satisfied with it himself, and made an order for an OEM windscreen via a local dealership.

Not sure why VW would say it needs ...

Out of interest, where did you get a quote of £80 for a full diamond cut refurb from? I've had prices of around £110-120 in the North East.

Don't think I'd personally want to attempt a DIY refurb on the 'Parabolica' wheels!

Think the GTI is limited by the fact it has the storage drawers beneath the front seats. That eats into how low it can go.

Ibiza Cupra doesn't have the storage bits, and that seat definitely seemed to go lower.

Obviously pretty damn similar to drive, but I'm happy I bought a GTI.

I'm not sure the S1 / A1 S Line split rear spoiler would fit. Although they share bits, I imagine the profile of the boot wouldn't match up between Polo and A1 sufficiently well.

Instead, I'd suggest doing a search for the Polo WRC rear spoiler. That's the one from the LHD-only WRC ...

As others have pointed out, that's not particularly competitive.

I'd strongly recommend trying the Orange Wheels configurator to see what kind of price they suggest. Check out CarWow too, as they're pulling in some impressive deals at the minute from what I've seen.

How long do you spend looking at your rear lights? I can't say I give it a great deal of thought, and I'm quite pleased VW didn't waste money fitting rear-LED stuff for the benefit of random people behind me in traffic.

From reading this, it sounds a lot more like an issue with one individual car, and a dealership who haven't resolved things properly. Have you contacted Volkswagen Customer Service to raise this with them?
