Re: Sub wiring from battery to cabin
If you haven't solved this already, theres a rubber grommet behind the battery (Right hand side whilst looking at the car) which goes through the bulkhead and ends up in the passenger footwell. Just make a small cut in it and poke the power wire through and you can run it under the centre console wh...

Polo 9n-9n3 centre console cubby storage box and sunglasses holder
VW Polo 2002-2008 (9n-9n3) centre console cubby storage box. Replaces the open topped tray in the centre top of the dash. This part which I believe was not available for UK cars, and was only available in other countries as an optional extra on Highline and Sportline models. This will fit UK polos a...

Whiteline rear anti roll bar
I have a Whiteline Adjustable Rear Anti Roll bar for sale, it's been on my Polo 9n3 for about 16 months. The bar has a bit of flaking paint and surface rust, and a bit of surface rust on the nuts, bolts and brackets but nothing serious. Bushes are in good nick. All bits are included as well as the f...

Re: Please help to get leather in my polo blue motion!
Straight fits include leather seats from the Skoda fabia (rare) and cupra (even rarer/non existant?) Polo Gti leather is available but rarer still, would cost a bomb and probably look a bit mismatched in the car. Might be a better bet picking up some audi TT leather seats or really any other VAG set...

Re: Bolt on Brake Upgrade
Unfortunately bolt ons aren't as simple or cheap for models other than the GTI. To upgrade the brakes on our Polos we would also need to replace the hubs with GTI/FR/Fabia VRS/ pd130 ones since ours have built in carriers - adding a fair bit to the upgrade price. After that it's the same story, chuc...

Hod out for a buyer for those wheels, they're rare as rocking horse poop.
Here's one Don't rush on getting them sold, I think he'll be looking for a while

Re: VW Polo 1.9 TDI PD100 2007 standard looking for advice
Welcome to the forum! Tidy Polo you have there, mine started off in much the same way, even with the same alloys! Those would be VW San Marino's, a rare optional extra for the Polo. The GTIs do look nice but the kit is usually hard to come by such as seats and spoilers etc, the wheels come up every ...

Re: Clutch has had it.
Something to do with the clutch release plate slider thing finally being re-greased after many many years of use and abuse apparently. Glad to hear it's sorted.

Re: Clutch has had it.
Same story with my bosses wife's Polo tdi. Replacement clutch is light as a feather. Mine must still be on the stock one because it's like a leg press changing gear.

Re: Polo Gti Vs Range Rover Sport
That torque figure is fairly massive. Given the fact it weighs more than a mountain means it actually has less than 100hp/ton, whereas you have about 125bhp/ton at your disposal :D With drag races I think he had it easy with the auto box, all he had to do was plant his right foot down and sit there!...

Re: changing speaker's in my Polo?? helppppp!
You can buy a clip puller tool which looks much like a nail puller on the end of a claw hammer, or you can make one by duct taping two knives together slightly apart. I managed to break a load when I took out all of my doorcards, but I had bought like 10 more off ebay beforehand to replace them. It ...

Aluminium/chrome boot struts
A pair of aluminium boot gas struts for Polo 9n and 9n3. A nice upgrade from standard black ones. Overall pretty good condition, cleaned them up to discover some lacquer bubbling patches at the tops of both struts, pictured is the worst of the two - the photo makes it look worse than it is. One clip...
