Yeah was thinking of actually going down the coilover route but spending around £1000 on a set that is dampening adjustable etc etc. Id like to track the car in the future and saw this as quite a smart wheel for both road and track use.

Yes I have diamond cut Monza Shadows on my Golf GTI MK6 and the car is 21 months old now and the wheels are perfect no White worm on these. Had Diamond cut wheels on the VW before that and no problems either. Had 2 refinished after being kerbed and no problems either. I am going to get the Monza's ...
I agree overall look is great and could be improved by diamond cutting the front surfaces of the wheels which would still give the contrast with the Red and black of the car but enhance the wheels and bring the finish bang up to date 8)[/quote]

Yes, the stance is just nice as it is, perfect wheel-to-guard ratio, unlike coilovers when people go waaaay too low and tuck the wheel up inside the arch, aside from that, then you destroy the handling also, but that's another story:)
