Anyone got an update on this? Because these are Volkswagen parts (although not uk parts) I don't have to tell my insurance?
Can a vw dealer not source the parts?

I've come to fit them and have no idea how to get re blank grill sections off, I'm not removing the bumper that's for sure and you can't get behind the bumper because it's all boxes in. Has anyone removed the grill plates and do you have any tips otherwise I think I'm going to have to cut them out. ...

All them tips worked well, and that spray is called Sticky Stuff which worked a treat on the residue.
For future reference.... if like me you can't get a hair drier to the back of the car, use quite warm (NOT BOILING) water and that helps quite a lot.
