Got these today. Only a small change but I'm fed up of seeing the dirty marks on the blue ones that come with the car.

Do u mean the 256mm rear disc's? cause I think I kinda know what u mean but its hard to tell without and pics. also did the calipers u used come off of a 4wd car? as I know u need to use a spacer to move the caliper carrier slightly if fitted to a 2wd car.

Here in SA those rims are so common ppl are swopping them almost daily... :lol:

I know and the annoying thing is they are really cheap but once you add on shipping and import duty/tax what ever its called it costs a small fortune!!! :( I never thought it would be sooo hard to get a used set of 6R ...

Im in the uk m8 lol. I was just going by the names listed for them on ETKA at work. Its weird cause that's what they are listed as in the sales sheets (Monza/shadow Monza) but when you go into parts catalogue it lists them as Denver or detriot :? Ether way im still after a set :cry: they just never ...

will be interested to see how this turns out as im looking at upgrading my turbo after my holiday. Any update?

ETKA lists the two types of alloys off of a 6R gti as Detroit and Denver. What ever they are called im still after a set of ether so if anyone has a set pm me plz

im not an expert on turbos but you wont ever have no exhaust gases running through the turbo as your always producing exhaust gas when the car is running! That's part of the combustion cycle! As for the dumping of air its self it doesn't dump all the air just the excess as again your always going to ...

Looking for a set of 4 of ether of the above with or without tyres not too bothered about condition if its denvers but if its the detriots then they must be mint as they would be a nightmare to refurb as there diamond cut!

was thinking about this turbo upgrade myself what did jbs say about internals? as this says 260/300bhp and i was told anymore than 250bhp should think about upgrading internals? will be interesting to see power output looking forward to this finished
