I had been intending to order a T-Cross equipped with the 1.5TSI engine and, possibly, the DSG gearbox as soon as the order books open, but after reading the Autocar comments about the (presumably WLTP tested) engine in the latest Audi Q3, I am beginning to have doubts:

Re: Help needed,Starting to question my order, days before delivery
Although we seem to have wandered off topic a little, I was very interested to read the foregoing comments.

Re: 2018 Polo NEW SHAPE
For anyone interested, Autocar have today published a fairly superficial test of the 2018MY Polo.
They have awarded it four stars, less than the 2018 models of Ford Fiesta and Seat Ibiza which both get 4.5 stars.
By coincidence, I also discovered that the configurator on the German VW website is ...

My Polo is a 1.2TSI, but I am sure I speak for many others when I say a big "thank-you" to iichel for taking the time and trouble to provide such a detailed reply to the OP's query. I found it absolutely fascinating.

Re: Fuel tank capacity - more than 50 litres?
Hi d-ash!
The maximum I have ever squeezed into my Polo is 47.13 litres.
I always brim the tank as soon as the warning light illuminates, so probably about the same quantity left in as youself.

TSI Coolant Top-up
Hi!
My 2010 Polo 1.2TSI (engine code CBZB) needs its coolant topping up, but I am unsure which type to use (G12, G12+, G12++ or G13).
The expansion tank has "G12" screen printed on it; the coolant itself is pink in colour, which leads me to think I should use one of the G12 variants.
However, the ...

Re: Friendly advice
Well said, Niolette.
I encountered this problem on my 60-plate TSI when I came to remove the wheels for routine maintenance. Judicious hammering with a piece of timber on the inside of the tyre did not break the "joint". Eventually I managed it by removing the wheel bolts and rocking the car ...

As a first move, I would suggest you visit:

Input your Post Code and you will discover what stations you can (theoretically) receive.

Re: 1.2 tsi motorway
Hi solidsponge
I have owned a 1.2TSI for five years and find it very capable on all types of roads.
The motorway performance is, I would say, every bit as good as the five Golf GTI's (all 1.8 8-valves) which I owned back in the 80's. I have never yet found the need to change down from 6th gear to ...

Hi Tomtoon 2015
Your reference to the "Max" symbol makes me wonder whether you have the Climatronic upgrade fitted.
If this is the case, then pressing the "Max" button (with the adjacent symbol) will over-ride the automatic adjustment of the (heated) airflow, maximising the flow to the front ...

Hi tomtoon 2015
I suspect that the "creaking" sound you are hearing is the car moving forward fractionally against the handbrake, causing the rear brake pads to alternately slip and grip the disc.
You could check this (after taking all appropriate safety precautions) by asking a helper to push the ...

Re: Polo started making a strange noise after turnover.
Difficult to say without hearing the noise, but it could be bearings rattling slightly before oil pressure builds and forms a "cushion" between the two surfaces.
That sounds somewhat alarming, but provided it does indeed disappear after a second or two, probably nothing to worry about.
