Manual.

Power hood. OE spec.

79000 genuine miles, summer running.

If its simplicity u want then the 1.4 16v makes sense but if u goin to want more power down the line, as we all do, u might be better goin for the G40, it supercharged and thats a really really good thing, just look at that mk1 golf g40 in pvw not long ago, that was seriously quick! the g40 will ...

Breakers are great places to find cheap parts... just go thru all the numbers in the back of pvw and just pic who offers u one cheapest! even if u buy a new one from vw u gonna have to pay to have it sprayed so get a second hander and then have it sprayed to for the cost of the new one.

Why not go big and deep? im running 7x16 on the front and 9x16 on the rear... they kinda dictate the ride height u can have but how low realistically can u go with all the bloody speed bumps that are appearin everywhere? I fitted these wheels and still have managed quite a drop. Up to you.

I took out the air bag myself... workin blind with no knowledge of what i was doin and relyin simply on luck! all i did was disconnect the battery, undo the screws in the back of the air bag, lift the air bag clear of the steerin wheel and then you can get to the big bolt that hold ur wheel on ...

The hair dryer trick works great, if u heat the badges up enough u shouldnt even need a knife to pick them off. The hair dryer works really well when taking off your side rubbing strips too. It takes a real long time though and you really need patience. I suggest doin this on a warm summers day when ...
