Re: AirCon turns on with blowers?

It does my head in how it comes on automatically. I just keep the blower on 1 now instead of turning it off. Would be nice to know if you can turn it off with VCDS.

Re: Using Oil!

Mine is booked in for the oil breather pipe to be fit, I'll report back if it feels any different low down afterwards :)

Re: Using Oil!

My car is booked in tomorrow for high oil consumption :( It got better for a few 1000 miles and barely used any. Now it's used 3 lites in 2400 miles  I don't want to be hearing these stories, I assume George you have had the fix done. The word I had from VW technical was that the breather pip...

How much did you get charged for fitting, or did you do it yourself?

Re: Garnish

What finish are you thinking of getting?

Fake carbon really is awful, hope it's not that! The only benifit to carbon is that it's light. Making the same components slightly heavier by putting fake carbon effect would be really stupid (and will look very Halfords) imo. Piano black would look good.

Re: Polo WRC out next year

The concept has been out for a bit. I've been to 3 different dealers to try and get my name down on one but none of them had even heard of it  I really hope it has 4WD when it comes out, I'll definitely be getting one if it does 8) Hopefully they won't go like Mini with the JCW Cooper S GP and...

Pretty safe to say I'm getting a set of these now :)

How did the installation go, any issues along the way or was it pretty straight forward?
Aren't they illegal though since there's no light washers on that car?

Re: Baigo's South African 6R GTI

I love that interior. Wish that was an option over here. I'd go for a remap and an exhaust over coilovers as others have suggested. Btw, where did you get that keyring? I've got a little GTI grille thing but its a lot smaller than that and it came on a piece of string instead of a keyring. I think i...

Cheers, it was on the road from Slaidburn to High Bentham in Lancashire - http://goo.gl/maps/jJC5B

Great road, never see any other cars on it, one of my favourite for a nice, fast drive out :)

Re: Vredestien Ultrac Sessanta

I had some of these on my mkv golf and really liked them. 8) I went for a run out before to try them out a bit more, there is so much less road noise it's unbelievable and the grip seems better (although I may have gotten used to worn Sportmaxxes). http://i1169.photobucket.com/albums/r519/george_h4...
