Re: Wheel opinion

i am not a great fan of such disks on modern polos, rather prefer disks from polo R or even monzaz / denver or some random painted white disks =)

Re: My polo 6r 1.4i. Yellow [Xenon Lenses fitted]

Anyone tried mounting jom badgeless grill on polo? Thinking about getting one http://www.jom.de/products/gb/News/Grill-VW-Polo-5-6R-badgeless-black.html There is a plastic thingie that you should paint and place on the bonnet to hide badge hole. Seen people using black film (on black car) to hide it...

Re: My polo 6r 1.4i. Yellow [Xenon Lenses fitted]

lowered with TA Technix coils
For me that lowering looks perfect — dont like when car looks like its carrying full trunk of potatoes, although i am sure most people would prefer it much lower xD

Re: Lowering springs

One thing to note is that -30mm is maximum possible lowering to use with std dampers according to manual. And even then I can imagine that using such springs (that provide maximum possible lowering) would shorten dampers life anyway. If it will break or start leaking it wont be covered by the warran...

Re: Little advice for tuning my beloved polo?

for me going from 14 to 16 205/50 improved handling and braking quite a bit. I can go through turns on a speed that wasnt possible before. I am no expert though.. well at least it will impact breaking power due to bigger "contact spot" with a road. p.s. roads are so sht where i live that 1...

Re: Bird s*** damaged my 6R

would be easier to tell with some pics, but imo you should be able to at least polish it back to normal
I started to use wax shampoo on my car as well and bird $ht was quite a bit easier to remove since then.

Re: gloss or matt black alloy wheels

I like matt, not only it is cooler but also more trouble free.
Even with some dust and tiny scratches glossy wont look too good imo.
not to mention that most, if not all, black parts on our polo is matt (like plastics etc)

Re: Little advice for tuning my beloved polo?

I am pretty sure stock will handle extra HP perfectly fine, although if you want to change something i would go for 17 wheels (if you dont have it yet). Wheels / tyres have great impact on handling / braking etc.

Re: white 6r. pictures from dubshed

While i dont think bodykit is that awesome its definitely a good solution — it makes the car looks low without a super hard ride which comes with this sort of lowering.

Re: My polo 6r 1.4i. Yellow [Xenon Lenses fitted]

I think film on a car is very personal — a lot of people think its ugly and cheap and the other half likes to put film on everything including badges and hood/bonnet (which i personally think is ugly :D). Some hate matte and love glossy etc. I wasnt sure if i love the way car looks from the back wit...

Re: Putting in Xenons and Fog lights - guide

Yeah the levellers will work but they will not be self levelling. Self leveling isnt the main problem. When you ride on a speed over a bumpy road they wont self-adjust in time anyway. The problem however is the light border which isnt what it should be and will most likely "blind" other d...

Re: Wiper pull design flaw?

thats was an unpleasant surprise for me as well tbh
Another thing that i am experiencing atm is left wiper hitting left stand (?) when it moves to the left. And judging by the sound its hitting it kind of hard. Really annoying boom-boom-boom... Is this normal? think it could use some tuning.

Blue polo?

Was checking on some local forums and found this golf GTI Looks really interesting. Maybe i should do the same on the polo xD — loving the color (its blue matte film) http://s2.images.drive2.ru/car.photos/x4/4400/000/000/385/830/48cefb5dae4ac151-large.jpg and before that the guy had german flag colo...
