Looking for a bit of advice here. I quite like the look of these XXR 527's they are 17" x 8.25J ET 25.

I'm just wondering whether they'd fit my 9n3 GTI without any major issues? Not sure what tyre would be best suited ...

You'll want one of these mate, fits perfectly to the pipe just by pushing it in and no need for the hose clamp.

No problem dude, you helped with the idea of this setup in the first place :) How do you find it by the way? because I don't get any intake roar with the ITG cone the way it is now, its like the engine is too loud to hear it. Just wondering weather a cone filter like the jetex one above might be ...

no worries mate, well it will reduce heatsoak slightly and the original air feed will provide it with some cool air.

Hi mate, you'll need a 70mm diameter silicone elbow, 90 degree if you want it to sit in the bottom half of the airbox and a 70mm outside diameter air filter of your choice plus two 60-80mm hose clips to hold it all together. This arrangement will then bolt directly to the MAF sensor piping.
