The GTI has a different bottom and top end, plus has VVT. In all, its a very different engine You would be hard pushed to get little over 85, and even then, GTI cams wouldnt fit in a 1.4 16V It would require a full top end swap as a start and alot more work (ECU, fuelling system etc) to be anywhere...

Ive read up and been told that i can get my 1.4 16v 75bhp to 125bhp by changing the cams and throttle body and ecu from standard to gti parts i want to know if this is true and if i need anything else... i have been offered the parts and i can get them fitted for free by my mate i know ill need to g...
