100bhp Polo - My First Car
I thought I would start a new thread as the pictures on my first thread have disappeared as I was playing around on Photobucket and moved all my images into different folders which seems to have affected my original thread. This is my X reg 1.4 16V 100bhp (AUB) Polo I brought for £1250 with 88K on t...

Re: 6n2 First Car?
Best thing to do is play around on comparison sites and see what the cheapest car is. Be prepared to be shocked by the prices as getting insured when you young is almost impossible these days.

GTi Grill Badge
Could anyone help me out as I'm wondering the height and length of the black backing on a GTi grill badge. Thanks.

Re: 6n2 grills/ ofset gti/tdi badges
Thanks, what about putting it in; is it a case of just pushing it .alexperkins wrote:Depends. It's easiest with the bumper off so you can lever the clips open with a screwdriver
Otherwise it's a case of levering it out

Re: 6n2 grills/ ofset gti/tdi badges
Speaking of grills; how easy is it to take out the middle grill at the bottom and replace it with a honeycomb .

Re: 6n2 grills/ ofset gti/tdi badges
Oops... I read it as though you were the first poster haha! There would be nothing to stop you peeling the GTI off and sticking 16V on if it didnt work 8) Just out of interest are the 100bhp models rare as Iv'e heard they are. Anyway I have done a quick (rubbish) Photoshop to give you an idea of wh...

Re: 6n2 grills/ ofset gti/tdi badges
Personally, i would just drop the 16V off the front grille - looks cleaner in any case! Plus being a 1.0, its only an 8V so a 16V badge is untrue lol Mines a 1.4 and the standard grille has the 16V badge on as I own a 100bhp model :D. It looks quite sporty at the moment but I feel a GTi grille with...

Re: 6n2 grills/ ofset gti/tdi badges
Will 16V badges fit as I am thinking of buying a GTi grille too . The reason I ask this question is because I haven't seen one on a GTi grille yet. Also; this may sound like a stupid question but does the grille come with the VW badge .

Re: Silver 6N2 (Updated Pics)
I want some 3D resin plates (just the plain black one) but I have read that they're illegal despite the website claiming that they are legal.SolidZeus wrote:Got Plates from DemonPlates, Got the Carbon 3D ones

Re: Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car
Update of minor mods I have done to the car - Sorry about the dodgy pics but it was getting dark when I took them. • Just added my Carbon Fibre badge inserts for the steering wheel that I brought from Hotwire Graphics . I think it looks good and rather sporty. It also goes well with my rear ...

Re: Footrest
Got the footrest fitted looks quality and adds a bit of class and sportiness to the foot well as it compliments the Audi TT pedals. Sorry about the dodgy pictures I took them as it was starting to get dark. http://i1259.photobucket.com/albums/ii542/MJS_93/MyFootrestClose-up.jpg http://i1259.photobuc...

Re: Footrest
Apparently it does, but theres some plastic that isnt covered. Thanks, I have managed to find a picture of what I thought was one fitted on a 6n2 and PM'd him to ask him if it was a 9n footrest and he confirmed it (Thanks t.small). There is a small gap but you will only notice it if you know it's t...

Will a 9n footrest pedal/cover fit a 6n2 I'm sure I have seen picture's on here of them on but wasn't sure.
This is what I'm thinking of fitting to mine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160933967315? ... 97.c0.m619
