Re: TT/Lupo GTI Pedals

Audi TT pedals are the preffered route and are about 10 pounds a pedal You need a LHD accelerator pedal in most cases. On some later polos, the RHD pedal will fit but this is rare. Never make the assumption that lupo GTI parts fit the 6n2 polo - alot of parts are slightly different and dont fit at ...

TT/Lupo GTI Pedals

Thinking of buying either Audi TT or Lupo GTI pedals but I've got some questions before I do. • Iv'e heard you need to buy a LHD Accelerator pedal but RHD Clutch and Brake pedals. Is this true or will a RHD Accelerator fit :?:. • Am I better off buying RHD Lupo GTI pedals :?:. They must fit a Polo 6...

Re: 6N2 Questions! help is appreciated.

Anyway its a dark grey (unsure on exact colour) 6n2 1.4 16v! suspect its the 75bhp model but unsure. Welcome to the site, when you get the car check the engine code on the sticker inside the boot next to the spare wheel. I own a 6N2 1.4 16v and the engine code is AUB, therefore it is one of the 100...

Re: Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car

An update of minor things I have done • I had to change the door lock barrel for the drivers side as it would only allow the tip of the key in and wouldn't turn. After using the passenger side to lock/open the car for the weekend while I worked I took it to VW and they said some w****r has tried to...

Re: Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car

If it says AUB it's the 100ps. No need to ask anyone :D Cool, I'm very happy right now as I'm an 18 year old with a rare VW Polo 1.4 16v 100bhp. Although I will admit to being a bit of a boy racer (Who isn't at my age ) I will definitely look after it and not do anything to write it off as I ...

Re: Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car

I wouldnt be so sure this is the 100BHP one It doesnt have the 16v 100bhp alloys on for a start, though does have the correct interior for a 100bhp model albeit some 75bhp models came with this. I have been doing some research and apparently the 1.4 16v 100bhp came with the option to have 15" ...

Also, the tax is in the wrong bracket for a 100bhp model which are around £200 to tax as opposed to £135...

Re: Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car

AUB is indeed the 100bhp engine Cool, I guess I'm lucky as I've heard that they are quite rare as the majority of 1.4 16v are 75bhp. Some say that they are even rarer than the GTI :D, but then again a lot of people make their Polo's look like a GTI despite owning a 1.0, 1.4, etc. even though it's n...

Re: Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car

I've been thinking about buying a RClick Remote Keyless Entry system (http://www.rclick.co.uk/product_info.ph ... cts_id=671) but before I do I was wondering if anyone else has it installed on their Polo, what it is like and how easy it is to install.

Re: Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car

I've got another question for you guys.

I was just wondering if you can tell me the bhp of my car as I have checked the engine code and it is stating that my car has an AUB engine. Would that mean it is 75bhp or 100bhp?

Polo 6n2 1.4 16v - My First Car

Hi, I'm new to this forum after purchasing an X reg (2000) Polo 1.4 16V S for £1250 with 88K on the clock and is in excellent condition for ages minus a few small stone chips which is expected of a 12 years old car. As an 18 year old I am very pleased with the car as it comes with a lot of features ...
